After leaving KenWest, I went to work as a private secretary for an actuarial consulting firm. Some time later, I met and married Larry on mother's day, 1963; our daughter, Deborah was born on mother's day, 1964. What a gift!

Still living in Buffalo, I returned to work in 1975, after being a stay-at-home mom. It was a fun, part-time job working at a market research company.

In 1980, we moved to Florida. Larry opened a Singer Sewing Center in North Miami Beach, Deborah went to Hollywood Hills HS. I went to work at a research company and became a supervisor (and yes, I was still having fun).

In 1994, I retired and was fortunate enough to have Deborah (Creative Director in advertising)
and her husband, Michael (car designer) move to Florida from Michigan along with our first grandchild, Sasha, now 16 yrs. Next, in 1997, along came Nina, now 13 yrs. I not only was thrilled to be a hands-on grandmother, yet again, I was having fun.

Here is where I take a slightly different route on my way to having fun...In 2000, I was lucky to get a job at the elementary school where my granddaughters attended. I was given an opportunity to work alongside of children with special needs. This in of itself has reached me deeply; challenging and creative. I will always feel honored to be a small part of making a difference in their lives.

Now, 2010, I am retired and this is where I'm having the most fun. I have an art studio in my home; yes, I love shopping and playing Mah Jongg twice a week with my friends.

Larry and I plan on cruising a great deal more since we live 30 minutes from Port Everglades.

Most important, our kids live 15 minutes from our home, and this is where the real fun is!
