Veteran's Day, November 11, 2019, was a bittersweet moment for those of us in this Kenmore West Class of 1960.  After 2 years of searching, investigating, and communications David Hight's name was added to the memorial next to the Kenmore Municipal Building.  The following are photos and a video I took of that event.  I regret I did not turn on the video on my phone a bit sooner for the opening statement.  The video starts with the name of David's sister.  

Also, Hugh McPherson and I were very surprised to hear our names mentioned.  While we both have had a part in keeping David's memory alive, for this particular ceremony our classmate's (Ken Kavanagh-deceased) brother, Pat Kavanagh did the work.  He is the one who should be getting this credit.  I contacted him when I first heard he was researching all those from Kenmore West who died during the Viet Nam War.  From that contact, Pat connected with Hugh.  After that, it was all Pat.  Thank you Pat!!  This class, in particular, owes you a wealth of thanks and gratitude.
