Many of my classmates may remember me as Gloria Basham. However, that was not my legal last name, it was my stepfather; I was never adopted. The last year of school, I was told I had to use my legal name and I happily did that.
After I had my family I stayed at home for a while with my children. Then I started working and mainly got a lot of legal experience. In 1996 I ended up in Florida for 11 months and I worked for the state of Florida Department of Corrections Probation and Parole. Then I moved to Virginia and got a job in Arlington. Lived in Alexandria, VA until I bought a condo in Silver Spring, MD. I had several different jobs as I moved up and ended up in Washington DC at a law firm. I worked there until October 31st 2009 when I retired and moved to Boynton Beach Florida.
